Foster a child in Lackawanna County & help your community
The OYFS is very easy to work with because we all have the same goal in mind “the best interest of the children”. We become like one big family in a sense. Mimi has always been great to work with and anything we need she is on top of things, she gets things done.

We love being foster parents because it’s a way to help families in need. Everyone goes through hard times, but not everyone has a strong support system to help them get through it. These kids just need a safe, loving place to stay for a bit. We are fortunate to be able to open our home and be that place.
